Stainless steel with silicone suction toddler plate – comes with a toddler spoon and toddler plate – in pink, blue, green, and grey. Bottom has silicone pads and a suction on the bottom to secure plate to the table. Has 1 main and 2 smaller compartments to separate food and introduce portions and balanced meals. Perfect for toddlers and not using typical plastic.
I like these, they are very well made and should hold up well in my kitchen. Don’t buy these thinking you’re getting a bar-sized mat, though, as they are on the smaller side. But it’s what I personally wanted, as I have a very specific area in mind for these. (You do get two, by the way.)
I do have a quibble, and that is the imprecise measurement listed. Often, someone buying something like this has a very precise area they want to place it in and correct measurement is vital to avoid returns to sender.
I measured and the correct measurement is 11 1/2″ x 5 3/4″ (not 12″ x 6″ as shown). You’re welcome.
These little mats are on the expensive side, but then again they are thicker than most. (1/4 inch as far as I can tell). The nubs are little less than 1/4 inch tall.
I have quite a few silicone mats and these are of excellent quality. This olive-gray color is gorgeous. That said, I’d like to see more color choices available.
I’m using these mats as a spoon/spatula rest, and keeping one next to the faucet as a home for dish soap, counter cleaner, and Scrub Daddy. They also work wonderfully to keep cutting boards from sliding on the counter. Other uses could be as a hot pad, in the bathroom for a toothbrush, soap, etc. (many uses)
As far as cleaning these goes, I do not have any issues. If something gets stuck in the nubs, just bend the smooth sides of the mat together and run water over the nubs. The mats are easily washed in the dishwasher and stored in a drawer.
These are very useful in the kitchen and bathroom. Recommended!
The measurements on these mats were a bit off, so they don’t quite work in the area I intended to use them. But they fold up small enough that I’ll keep them in a kitchen drawer, for those times when I want to air-dry something that I’ve hand-washed (think: crystal wine glasses). There are two of them, so that’s a plus. I think they’ll be easy to clean if I run them through the dishwasher.
I actually got these as a general dish drying mat since it was hard to find smaller ones that have the little elevated pegs (so water doesn’t pool under dishes) on Amazon. It’s doing it’s job very well, and it’s a good size. We can split it to use in two places or put them together into one larger mat. Wife said “it’s great” so I consider that a huge success.
